Called to Serve

Jesus didn't come to be served — He came to serve. And He calls each of us to follow His example. Today we discover how service is not a burden but a beautiful expression of love in action.

The Heart of a Servant

Mark 10:45 tells us: 'For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'

Service begins with a heart posture. When we see ourselves as stewards rather than owners, everything changes — our time, our talents, and our resources become tools for God's kingdom.

Serving Where You Are

  • Look for needs in your neighborhood, workplace, and church

  • Use your unique gifts — God designed you for specific acts of service

  • Start small — faithfulness in little things leads to greater opportunities

The Ripple Effect

Every act of service sends ripples into the world. A meal delivered, a conversation shared, a hand extended — these moments carry the fragrance of Christ to a world that desperately needs it.

Action step: Volunteer for one new ministry or community project this month and see how God uses you.
