Family Worship Sunday

On the first Sunday of each month, we do things a little differently. Instead of separate children's programming, everyone — from toddlers to grandparents — worships together in the same room. It's a beautiful reminder that the church is one family, and every voice matters.

What Makes It Special

• All-Ages Worship — Songs are chosen to be singable for everyone. Expect a mix of upbeat praise songs the kids love and meaningful hymns the whole congregation can join in.

• Kids' Moment — A 5-minute interactive time during the service just for the children, led by our Children's Ministry Director. Think object lessons, fun questions, and big truths made simple.

• Shorter Message — The sermon is 20–25 minutes instead of the usual 35, with illustrations and language accessible to all ages.

• Family Communion — On Family Worship Sundays, we take communion together as families. Parents can serve their children and explain the meaning in their own words.

• Activity Bags — Worship activity bags are available at the doors for children ages 3–7, with coloring pages, crayons, and quiet activities related to the day's theme.

Why We Do This

Research shows that children who worship alongside their parents develop a stronger, more lasting faith. Family Worship Sunday is an intentional rhythm to help families connect spiritually — not just in the car on the way home, but right there in the pew together.

Nursery care is still available for infants and toddlers (ages 0–2) during Family Worship Sundays.
