Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Christmas Eve at Grace Community is one of the most cherished nights of the year. We gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ — the light of the world — through carols, Scripture, reflection, and the glow of candlelight filling the sanctuary.
Three Service Options
4:00 PM — Family Service — A shorter, 45-minute service perfect for families with young children. Features a live nativity scene performed by our children's ministry, sing-along carols, and a brief message of hope. Candy canes for all the kids!
6:00 PM — Christmas Eve Worship — Our most attended service. Full worship team, choir, Scripture readings from the Christmas story, a message from Pastor Michael Torres, and candlelight singing of "Silent Night" to close.
11:00 PM — Traditional Candlelight Service — An intimate, contemplative service with hymns, communion, and candlelight. A beautiful way to welcome Christmas morning in stillness and reverence.
Special Elements
Live Music — Our choir and orchestra perform classic arrangements alongside the worship team.
Candlelight Moment — Each person receives a candle. As the lights dim, we pass the flame from person to person, symbolizing Christ's light spreading through the world.
Christmas Offering — Our annual Christmas offering goes directly to local families in need through our partnership with the Community Hope Center.
Invite a friend, a neighbor, or a coworker. Christmas Eve is the perfect night to share the message of hope with someone you love.
