Lifting Every Voice in Praise

The Music Ministry exists to lead our congregation into authentic, heartfelt worship through music. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or run sound and lights, there's a place for you on our team.

Our Teams

  • Worship Band — Vocalists, guitarists, bass, keys, and drums who lead Sunday morning worship. We rotate through 4 teams so each team serves 2–3 Sundays per month. Auditions are held each January and August.

  • Choir — Our 30-voice choir performs on the first and third Sundays of each month and during special services (Easter, Christmas Eve, Good Friday). Open to all voice types — no audition required, just a heart for worship.

  • Orchestra & Strings — Instrumentalists who accompany the choir and worship team during holiday services and special events. Rehearsals begin 6 weeks before each performance.

  • Production Team — Sound engineers, lighting techs, and ProPresenter operators who make every service run smoothly. Full training provided — no experience necessary.

  • Youth Worship Band — Student musicians (grades 6–12) who lead worship at Wednesday night youth gatherings and occasional Sunday services. Mentored by adult worship leaders.

What We Believe About Worship

Worship isn't a performance — it's a conversation with God. Our goal is to create an environment where every person in the room can connect with God through music, whether they're singing along or simply listening. We blend modern worship songs with reimagined hymns, honoring both tradition and creativity.

Get Involved

Interested in joining? Email worship@gracecommunity.org or talk to James after any Sunday service. Musicians go through a brief audition and orientation. Production team members receive hands-on training over 2–3 Sundays before serving independently.

"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth." — Psalm 96:1
