Youth Leadership & Mentoring
The Youth Leadership & Mentoring ministry empowers young people to discover their God-given strengths.

Raising the Next Generation of Leaders
The Youth Leadership & Mentoring ministry empowers young people to discover their God-given strengths, develop real-world leadership skills, and grow into men and women of character and faith. We believe every student has the potential to lead — at school, at home, and in their community.
Weekly Youth Night (Wednesdays)
6:30 PM — Hangout & Games — Foosball, ping pong, snacks, and time to connect with friends.
6:45 PM — Worship — Student-led worship band leads 15–20 minutes of music.
7:05 PM — The Message — Pastor Rachel delivers a relevant, Bible-centered talk on real issues: identity, purpose, relationships, mental health, social media, and faith under pressure.
7:30 PM — Small Groups — Divided by grade and gender, led by trained adult mentors. This is where the real conversations happen — questions are welcome and confidentiality is honored.
8:00 PM — Pickup
Monthly Leadership Labs
On the third Saturday of each month (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM), we host Leadership Labs for students who want to go deeper. Topics include:
Public speaking and communication skills
Conflict resolution and emotional intelligence
Financial literacy and goal setting
Serving others and servant leadership
Understanding your spiritual gifts
Mentoring Program
Every student who wants one is paired with a trained adult mentor who meets with them twice a month — for coffee, a walk, or just a check-in. Mentors commit to a full school year and go through 8 hours of training including boundaries, active listening, and crisis protocols. Currently 24 active mentor pairs.
Big Events
Spring Retreat — 3-day weekend at Pine Ridge Retreat Center (March)
Summer Mission Trip — One week serving locally or internationally (July)
Fall Kickoff — Outdoor concert, food trucks, and games to launch the school year (September)
Winter Formal — A fun, safe alternative to school dances (December)
For Parents
We communicate weekly via email and text. Parent meetings are held quarterly. We take the spiritual formation and physical safety of your students seriously — every adult volunteer is background-checked and trained.
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." — 1 Timothy 4:12
